Pacific Lodge No. 50

Stated Meeting

2nd Tuesdays

“I ask of each Mason, of each member, of each brother, that he shall remember ever that there is upon him a peculiar obligation to show himself in every respect a good citizen; for after all, the way he can best do his duty by the ancient order to which he belongs is by reflecting credit upon that order by way in which he performs his duty as a citizen of the United States.”

– Theodore Roosevelt

You heard the saying “Masons make good men better” Of all the fraternal societies that have existed around the world, none has been more enduring than Freemasonry. As an organization, it predates the United States. It is, and always has been, the organization which sets the foundation for manhood.

It has been the Organization model for character in the male experience since the founding of our nation.

Freemasonry is that organization which instructs men how to be in control of their lives in conscious and through responsible ways. It is a pathway designed to mold men into icons of virtue and morality; to fashion a healthy life style and a positive way of living so that the very actions will exhibit virtue and moral integrity within the larger culture of man.

Have you noticed in the contemporary American experience, men no longer honor the inner journey of their voyage of life? like our ancient ancestors, who believe that the real purpose of providing for a rite of initiation into this order, is that it puts closure on the process of self discovery.

In the ritual ceremonies of Freemasonry, we are engaged in a journey from emerging adulthood to a mature human being wherein we must integrate the child within us into our broader and overall sense of self development.

Becoming a member of this lodge through initiation, passing, and raising you will have participated in the most ancient tradition of manhood.

We look forward to meeting you and helping you along your journey to becoming a better man.
